Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Elimination and processing of faults in the industrial environment (1st/2nd level support)
2. Act as the main point of contact for employees who are experiencing computer issues
3. Monitor the performance of the company's desktop infrastructure and make suggestions for improving efficiency
4. Evaluation, creation and development of solutions in the industrial sector
5. Elaboration and implementation of standards in the field of industry as well as participation in concepts for the industrial IT environment
6. Resolve software, hardware and device issues reported by the end users
7. Installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop hardware and software
8. Support services for Client standard technologies including basic troubleshooting of Exchange and adds/moves/changes for AD accounts
9. Troubleshoot PC connectivity issues and network elements including ISP circuits, firewalls, network switches, wireless equipment and telephone system
10. Remote access solution (VPN) implementation and support
11. Escalate service issues when required
12. Communication with customers/end users as required, keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
13. Monitor network performance for availability, utilization and latency. Take the appropriate measures to resolve throughput issues, escalating to the support team as required
14. Oversee the maintenance and tracking of assets
15. Advise and train staff on computer operations and software applications

Requirements

16. Good understanding of Information Technology; trends, products and solutions
17. 1+ years’ experience in a similar position supporting a variety of technologies and services
18. In depth knowledge of:
19. Windows OS (Windows 10 & 11)
20. Microsoft Office & Office 365 applications
21. PC\Laptop hardware
22. PC\Laptop peripherals, including printers
23. Mobile devices
24. Basic knowledge of
25. Active Directory
26. Exchange
27. ITIL certification and familiarity with the Service Now ticketing system is an advantage
28. GMP-/GxP knowledge is desired
29. Highly self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail
30. Customer focused with a passion and drive for customer satisfaction and delivering business values
31. A service-oriented mindset and always striving to deliver on tasks and projects
32. Ability to work independently as well as willing to follow directions and best practices
33. Great communication and interpersonal skills
34. Fluent German and English (written and spoken) communication skills
35. Friendly, supportive and flexible personality with quick learning ability
36. Good team player with planning and organizing skills & multi-task
37. Candidates have to declare Criminal record extract not older than 3 months
