This Opportunity
Versar Global Solutions is seeking a full-time Ramp Services Specialist at our location in Stuttgart, Germany. The ideal candidate will perform all tasks associated with the safe and correct operation of the Air Terminal as directed by management, regulations, policies, instructions and the Performance Work Statement.
Your Impact
1. Load and unload of cargo and baggage on and off government owned or contracted aircraft, surface conveyances, and commercial pallet dollies IAW AMCI 24-, Volume 11 and other applicable instructions.
2. Validate, select, stage and upload aircraft loads utilizing the load plan.
3. Ensure water coolers, ice chests and freezer are stocked with water and ice for each shift.
4. Remove all trash from aircraft other than AMC Contracted Aircraft.
5. Assist Cargo Movement Section to facilitate onward movement of cargo / mail.
6. Build-up / break-down baggage pallets, multi-pallet trains, loose cargo, and mixed pallets.
7. Offload / upload baggage from AMC rotator missions and transport vehicles.
8. Operate Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES)/GDSS when performing Ramp Dispatch duties.
9. Weigh and record accurate cargo and baggage weights.
10. Escort trucks and buses.
11. Ensure all company-controlled areas are clean and neat in appearance.
12. Properly park all vehicles per the published vehicle parking plan.
13. Perform the safe and correct operation of a K-loaders, forklifts, buses, tugs, vans or other required vehicles and the daily inspection, documentation and turn-in (to maintenance) vehicles in need of repair or service.
14. Assist with wing-walker duties as needed.
15. Understand and abide by the standards set forth for ethical behavior and integrity as detailed in the Code of Business Conduct.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
18. Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
19. Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
20. Must maintain a valid driver’s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date
21. Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date. Passport must have a minimum of 6 blank pages prior to OCONUS mobilization.
22. Must be CAC eligible and able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.

Additional Required Qualifications
24. 18+ years of age
25. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs. regularly
26. Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time
27. Fluent English reading and writing skills to be able to read and understand AMCI guidance for day-to-day work requirements.
28. Must have computer skills to be able to operate and understand the web based Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES) and/or any replacement government system.
29. Must be able to obtain a DOD security clearance (level of clearance may vary depending on specific site requirements).
30. Must be a SOFA Status ID holder.
31. Successful results of pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
32. Comply with Company Drug and Alcohol policy.
33. Must provide documents for SOFA coverage.
34. Must obtain and have access to a US bank account for direct deposition of bi-weekly pay.
