Lead Engineer - I&E - Planning
We are looking forward to welcoming a skilled team player who will professionally support our project teams with their experience in planning using Siemens COMOS and who is enthusiastic about working independently in interdisciplinary project teams.
Overview of Responsibilities:
* Basic and detailed engineering for electrical and instrumentation systems of our gas plants and gas systems, considering safety requirements and hazardous area classifications using our planning software COMOS
* Participation in administrative tasks and process optimizations in COMOS (template creation, datasheet optimization, etc.)
* Support in training and preparation of training sessions for COMOS
* Preparation of specifications, tender documents, and evaluation of offers
* Inspection and acceptance of E&I equipment at our suppliers
* Contribution to the conceptual design of automation systems for hardware and software within the team
* Support of functional planning based on process descriptions within the team
* Technical support for the departments of procurement, sales, and service
Profile Overview:
* Academic degree: in Electrical Engineering, Measurement and Control Technology, Automation Technology or comparable
* Very good knowledge in using CAE planning software Siemens COMOS is required
* Good knowledge of electrical engineering and instrumentation systems
* Basic knowledge of explosion protection is desirable
* Knowledge in automation technology is desirable
* Several years of professional experience is desirable
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as part of project execution
* Excellent English and German on min B level
The position is based in Bonn. Approx 3 days/week in the office is essential. Candidates should live in commutable region to Bonn.
