* Oversee all core accounting processes (O2C / P2P / R2R)
* Manage external accounting service providers (Germany and US); prospectively insource accounting function
* Timely and accurate preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements
* Cash management, banking and FX handling
* Ensure tax compliance including transfer pricing policies and documentation
* Primary point of contact for auditors
* Closely co-operate with the FP&A team to support data driven decision making and generate actionable insights for the executive team
* Continuous review and enhancement of the finance tech stack
* Support the CFO on strategic finance projects
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (sometime within the audit function of a Big 4 would be a plus)
* In depth understanding of the finance processes relevant for a software scaleup operating in an international environment
* General tech savviness and passion for tool-based automation (deep Excel skills still mandatory, though)
* Proficient in German and English
