DuPont is seeking a demand fulfillment specialist to support the Printing & Packaging business. The Printing & Packaging business within DuPont Diversified Solutions.
In this role the successful candidate will serve as the primary interface between monthly demand planning activities and real time execution. The demand fulfillment specialist is responsible for the proper execution of the demand fulfillment, abnormal demand escalation, and demand prioritization process. They work with the demand planners, demand manager, sales team, product managers, schedulers, logistics, customer service, and decision centers to properly resolve abnormal demand issues and manage demand during supply disruptions.
Responsibilities
1. Monitor forecast consumption (sales orders vs. plan) frequently to identify deviations from plan throughout the month (between IBP cycles) and investigate/escalate issues to demand planners and supply chain.
2. Facilitate weekly Demand / Supply Reconciliation (DSR) process to identify and approve any necessary adjustments to the execution plan based on MTD (Month to Date) performance, forecast consumption, abnormal demand, supply upsets, etc. Work with Demand Planners to update the operational forecast in OMP as needed for significant changes.
3. Facilitate the cross-functional Decision Center meetings to respond to abnormal demand with decisions using execution level prioritization.
4. Responsible for entering mid-cycle forecast changes in the Operational Forecast in OMP.
5. Coordinate execution-level (customer, material, etc.) prioritization of sales orders & deliveries in real time as needed. Work with Demand Manager, Sales Managers and Product Managers to define execution-level prioritization scheme and then work with CSRs, Asset Schedulers, and Distribution Planners to execute prioritization plan.
6. Knowledgeable of current demand plan details (customers and products) and managing demand policies to be able to advise customer service, order fulfillment, or schedulers on actions to take.
7. Coordinate monthly forecast collection from commercial team for critical few items and upload to OMP.
Qualifications
8. Undergraduate business, supply chain, or engineering degree and/or several years of experience in commercial or supply chain organization.
9. Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
10. SAP and APO or OMP experience and knowledge preferred
11. Effective and Timely communication skills
12. Broad flexibility and aptitude to work in a team, across multiple functions and regions.
13. Strong analytical and organizational skills
14. Analysis and judgement capability; recognize issues, secure relevant information, assess severity, and develop course of action
15. Fluent in English and German
