As a Civil Field Engineer (f/m/d), you take responsibility for the safe, high‑quality, and efficient execution of complex industrial construction projects within an international project environment. Working closely with the Civil Site Manager, you manage civil construction activities on site, coordinate subcontractors and consortium partners, and ensure compliance with technical, scheduling, cost, and EHS requirements.
Responsibilities
* Responsibility for the assigned civil works scope, ensuring safe, high‑quality, timely, and cost‑efficient project execution while assuming legal responsibility on site
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors and consortium partners, fostering a strong team spirit and collaboration across all stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and actively promote a Zero Harm culture throughout all construction activities
* Manage deviations, claims, risks, and corrective actions, escalating potential impacts on scope, budget, or schedule to site management as required
* Monitor project progress, costs, schedules, and reporting activities, ensuring accurate progress measurement and transparent communication
* Ensure technical changes, project documentation, and As‑Built documentation are completed, maintained, and properly handed over to Engineering
Qualifications
* University degree in civil engineering or a related discipline
* First experience in the execution of complex industrial projects, particularly EPC and/or Consortium Partner (CP) projects
* Knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and EHS policies, regulations, and practices for complex construction projects
* Ideally experience in building and leading multinational teams in dynamic and fast‑changing environments combined with excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Advanced German and English language skills; additional languages are an advantage
* Willingness to travel worldwide (100%)
