You will join our growing global BD team and focusing on clients in Europe. You will be prospecting contacts, generating qualified opportunities, negotiating contracts, winning new business, and managing relationships with key customers. You will contribute to successfully expand our client base in Europe.Generate revenue through new and existing relationships to Biotech and Pharmaceutical companies as well as Academic InstitutionsBuild, maintain, and manage a sales pipeline to achieve revenue goalsPosition yourself as a valued consultant to our clients by connecting them to the relevant PlasmidFactory experts and by being a subject matter expert yourself.Advising clients in the field of cell and gene therapyConfidently and credibly present how our Products and Services can support our clients by presentations, conference calls, technical discussions, executive discussions, web seminars, conferences, and related activitiesWork closely and cross-functionally with Commercial and R&D teams to develop solutions that solve our client challengesReporting to the Senior Director BD and Project Management, you will drive all stages of opportunity development from coordinating proposals, RFIs, RFPs to contract negotiations, customer mapping and buying center analysis to successfully win deals and new clientsAccount Management: Map Customer organizations to fully understand how we can best serve them and identify new sales opportunities in these organizationsReport market and customer needs to Management, R&D and Marketing so we can position and update our offerings accordinglyRequirement/QualificationsUniversity degree in life sciences. Advanced scientific degree or equivalent working experience is a plus2+ years overall pharma/biotech industry experience with Sales related functionsStrong negotiation, consulting, and execution skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills in English and advanved German language skills.
