We help the world run better At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed. What you'll bring In this global role, you will consolidate and align the full spectrum of SAP’s Global Real Estate & Facilities (GRF) strategies into a coherent multi-year and yearly plan. This includes Location and Metro Strategy, Workplace Strategy, Regional Facility Management & Operations, Data Centers, Technology, Sustainability (Net Zero 2030), and Strategic Projects. By bringing these diverse elements together under one umbrella, you will enable leadership to see the full picture of SAP’s portfolio and make balanced, forward-looking decisions. You will: Own and operate the strategic planning framework that translates multiple inputs into a unified roadmap and multi-year budget. Drive integration and prioritization across regions, functions, and initiatives, ensuring transparency and alignment. Ensure rigorous follow-up throughout the annual cycle — from submission to alignment, forecasting, and year-end closing — in close partnership with Controlling, without duplicating their mandate. Provide leadership with actionable insights that directly influence where SAP operates, how workplaces evolve, how technology and data are integrated, and how sustainability commitments are delivered. Position GRF as a strategic enabler of SAP’s business, balancing financial responsibility with innovation, employee experience, and sustainability. What you build We are seeking the industry’s top talent—seasoned professionals with extensive experience and a proven track record of excellence in corporate real estate. This role demands visionary leaders who not only bring deep expertise but also the ability to shape the future of our portfolio with an exceptional blend of strategic and operational acumen. You are a strategic thinker with a talent for integrating diverse aspects of corporate real estate into a unified, forward-thinking planning framework. You excel at balancing long-term vision with actionable execution and have a knack for simplifying complexity into clear, focused strategies. To thrive in this role, you bring: Extensive and proven experience in portfolio planning, asset lifecycle management, and multi-year strategy formulation within a global, matrixed organization. Deep knowledge of CREM performance drivers, including lease events, operational efficiencies, consolidation opportunities, and the energy transition. A demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data and inputs into actionable, prioritized plans aligned with both strategic ambitions and business-critical needs. A collaborative approach, with exceptional skills in cross-functional and cross-regional integration to drive alignment and avoid duplication. A strong background in environments where strategic planning is seamlessly integrated with operational execution, ensuring financial plans reflect a fully aligned, globally cohesive strategy. We are looking for someone who brings excellence, vision, and leadership—someone ready to drive meaningful, lasting impact in this critical role.
