ZIB is the central IT service provider for the justice system in Lower Saxony and is responsible for a modern IT infrastructure with around 18,000 PC workstations. Your place of work can be flexibly assigned to a judicial authority close to your home in Lower Saxony.Your tasksAs part of the team, you will administer the centrally operated applications for electronic legal transactions and thus ensure the digital accessibility of the courts and public prosecutor's officesYou are part of the third-level support for electronic legal transactions, carry out error analyses and troubleshooting and optimize the use of the systems in the Lower Saxony judiciaryYou will work on IT projects for the judiciary to integrate new software products and for the operation of future IT solutions for electronic legal transactions in connection with electronic files or specialist proceduresYou will be involved in the design, configuration and administration of the central virtual server systems required for the operation of the applications, including databases and application servers, as well as in the design and optimization of processesYou will visualize and document the project and work results both for the national judiciary and for transnational committeesWhat sets you apartA relevant university degree (e.g. computer science) or equivalent practical skills and experience in the IT environmentProfound knowledge of the Microsoft universe (e.g. Active Directory, PowerShell, IIS), as well as the administration of Windows server operating systems and the implementation of web services with common application serversGood knowledge of relational database systems such as MS SQL Server and/or Oracle in operation in medium and large IT environmentsIdeally knowledge of MS BizTalk Server, S3 storage and the ITIL process worldWhat else we expectAbility to work in a team, initiative and service orientationGerman language skills corresponding to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and IT-standard English language skillsWillingness to undertake occasional business trips within Germanythe willingness to carry out a successful security check in accordance with § 7 para. 1 of the Nds.
