Key Roles and Responsibilities
* We are seeking a highly experienced automation professional to drive the development and implementation of global manufacturing automation strategies, focusing on welding and brazing automation.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial automation, with a strong background in welding and brazing processes. They should also possess excellent technical knowledge of factory automation frameworks such as Industry 4.0, digital twin, smart robotics, and machine vision.
Key Qualifications
* Masters degree in Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Welding Engineering or equivalent.
* Certification in welding engineering (e.g., Certified Welding Engineer) is a plus.
* At least 8 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation or research institutes concentrating on automation.
* Deep understanding of welding (MIG, TIG, MAG, Sub-Arc, etc) and brazing (e.g., vacuum brazing, flux brazing, induction brazing) processes.
* Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
