Responsibilities
1. Proactively ensure assigned accounts/territory develops new sales opportunities collaborating with the local sales team through the provision of onsite seminars, technical consulting, application feasibility test, and demonstrations.
2. Master technical application support during the sales process including pre-sales positioning and product introduction and support of existing customers on an ongoing basis with high level product training and application support technical partnership which leads to repeat sales.
3. Set up and run live product demonstrations and provide data analysis support.
4. Help mentor sales account managers through joint onsite activities.
5. Build and present technical seminars about key applications at industry seminars, conferences, and symposiums.
6. Identify and develop application solutions that provide high value to the biopharmaceutical and gene therapy markets.
7. Advise the transfer of knowledge and data from application feasibility studies, industrial and academic applications and technical journals and publications to product management for development.
8. Implementing programs following the annual business plan to develop business and achieve the target sales growth.
9. Maintain and continue to develop an outstanding knowledge of our products, their applications, and our competitors’ offerings.
10. Supervise competitive activity and industry trends, develops competitive solutions to meet sales goals.
Qualifications
11. Advanced Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related field (Master’s or. preferred).
12. Hands-on Technical Expertise in biopharma or gene therapy applications, including feasibility studies and instrumentation.
13. Strong Communication Skills with experience delivering technical presentations and product demos.
14. Sales Support Experience working alongside commercial teams to drive customer engagement and repeat business.
15. Industry Insight with the ability to identify high-value application solutions and monitor competitive trends.
