Nurse Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to join our team as part of epidemiological surveys in environmental health.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be involved in conducting PARC, the European Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out field visits, collecting biological and environmental samples, and administering questionnaires.
Responsibilities
* Conducting epidemiological surveys in Luxembourg, focusing on general population, healthcare workers, and waste management workers;
* Recruiting participants, providing information, and obtaining informed consents;
* Contacting participants and/or companies, planning field visits, and preparing necessary materials;
* Collecting human biological samples during field visits;
* Data entry and encoding of questionnaire and interview data.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need a diploma of nurse recognized in Luxembourg with authorization to practice (Infirmier diplômé). Experience in collecting human biological samples and environmental samples or questionnaire/interview data is highly desirable, preferably in Luxembourg and outside strictly clinical hospital acts. Strong teamwork skills and excellent communication abilities are also essential.
Key Qualifications
* A degree in nursing or equivalent;
* Proven experience in epidemiology or public health;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* Fluency in French or German, with basic knowledge of English;
* A driving license type B.
