In your role as Financial Controller (f/m/d) at Schlafender Hase, your mission will be to optimize and further develop our controlling processes. You will act as a sparring partner for the CFO, management and departments, providing transparent financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide decision making. Develop and continuously improve our controlling, including financial reporting, budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes
Support our CFO in monitoring our monthly financial close as well as in coordinating the preparation of our annual financial statements
Act as a business partner for Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Operations, providing support for department-specific controlling challenges
Support the CFO in various projects to further develop the Finance department
You have a bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration or equivalent, ideally with a focus on controlling
You have 3-5 years of proven expertise in controlling, preferably in a software company
Attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex data of different systems and/or subsidiaries are essential skills for this role, as well as a pragmatic, hands-on mentality
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and BI tools is required, experience with Hubspot and Microsoft Power BI is a plus
You are fluent in English and familiar with working in an international company ; German language proficiency is advantageous, but not essential for this role
