For our client we are currently looking for a Lead Backend Engineer – Data Platform & Governance (m/f/d) - Remote, Berlin.
Your tasks
1. Design and development of data catalogue and data mesh tools and services to support the federated software architecture.
2. Definition of solution architectures for a distributed service family with high security and high reliability requirements
3. Development, operations and maintenance of these applications in cloud-based or on-prem k8s clusters, using Helm, ArgoCD and Grafana
4. Development of CI pipelines and deployment with Azure DevOps
5. Development of REST interfaces with Python and FastAPI
6. Documentation of implemented features (e.g., for security or architectural reviews)
7. Participation on scrum meetings and work with scrum rituals
8. Project related coordination with backend development, data science, data architecture, front-end development, and data engineering
9. Project related coordination with project stakeholders, to consult with data-related technical questions and define requirements for infrastructure and software
