Your key responsibilities include:
7. Responsible for managing the reservations department and ensuring smooth operations
8. Actively solicit and manage reservation and group housing sales opportunities to drive revenue
9. Maximize revenue through effective up-selling of every booking opportunity
10. Ensure excellent guest service and loyalty through service excellence
11. Prepare and maintain offers, contracts, and booking confirmations
12. Monitor forecast data and group reservations
13. Control no-shows, waitlists, and accurate billing instructions
14. Collaborate closely with Sales, Front Office, and Convention Services
15. Lead, motivate, and train the reservations and group housing team including scheduling
Be able.
16. Completed education or degree in hospitality, tourism, or similar field
17. Several years of experience in reservations, ideally with leadership responsibility
18. Solid understanding of market trends, revenue management, and F&B offerings
19. Strong communication and sales skills in German and English
20. Proficient in Opera and MS Office
21. Hands-on mentality, organizational talent, and passion for leading a team
22. Ideally, you already have experience working with the Opera hotel system
