As an intern you will support the Valuation function which ensures accurate, consistent, and audit-proof asset valuations across all regions and asset classes.
The role is based in our Frankfurt office.
What you will do
* Support the development of the proprietary in-house valuation framework
* Optimize the data processes using SQL and Python
* Implement and extend the asset price and market data processing
* Implement and fine-tune of machine learning models in the context of valuation processes
* Document implemented processes and results.
What you bring
* Studies in the field of (Financial-) Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable, with strong interest in new technologies
* Strong programming experience in Python, including TensorFlow and Keras is a must
* Working experience with SQL, Databricks and Docker or Podman
* Knowledge of data science and statistics, as well as ability to interpret and analyze data
* Experience of Machine Learning and deep learning models
* Understanding of cloud computing and cloud-based technology, as well as experience in Azure Databricks is a plus
* Strong interest in finance, high commitment, motivation and willingness to take on responsibility
* The ability to work independently, as well as the ability to work flexibly in a team environment
* Very good team player with high motivation and positive work attitude
* Fluent in spoken and written English.
