Your Responsibilities
* Concept Development & Design: Planning and design of electrical components and purchased parts (including heating elements), as well as the development of new connection and wiring concepts for our high-temperature technology.
* Demonstration Plant Engineering: Contribution to the engineering of our demonstration plant and preparation of technical documentation.
* PLC Programming: Development of programming specifications and PLC programming (including visualization) for pilot and demonstration plants; coordination of external programmers.
* Pilot Plant Operation & Modifications: Implementation of electrical modifications to our pilot plant, including coordination of external contractors; procurement of electrical components, measurement and laboratory equipment; support during experimental campaigns.
Your Profile
* Completed technical education (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Dipl.-Ing., or Technician) in electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a comparable field, combined with several years of professional experience.
* Experience in the design and construction of control cabinets, field wiring, and electrical heating equipment; strong process understanding, including non-electrical systems.
* Solid knowledge of industrial control system programming (ideally Beckhoff, Structured Text) and visualization.
* Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (in particular the Machinery Directive); ideally experience with brownfield projects and the development of first-of-a-kind solutions.
* Hands-on mentality, willingness to travel and work on construction sites, Class B driving license; good German and good English language skills.
