The business delivers high-quality projects across sectors including residential, retail, logistics, and technology.
The company is now seeking a General Manager to oversee its Frankfurt office. This leadership position combines strategic, operational, and technical management responsibilities — ensuring the successful delivery of engineering projects while driving business growth and maintaining excellence in quality, performance, and client satisfaction.
Day-to-day duties could include :
* Lead and manage the daily operations of the Frankfurt office in alignment with global objectives.
* Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and profitability.
* Drive business development and strengthen client relationships.
* Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and health & safety standards.
* Guide and support multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and professional development.
* Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management.
* Implement process improvements and operational efficiency measures.
* Represent the company with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Requirements for the role :
* Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
* Proven leadership experience within the German construction or engineering industry.
* Strong understanding of local business regulations, labour law, and engineering practices.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and project profitability.
* Fluent in both German and English – written and spoken.
* Existing industry network and contacts in Germany.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive, disciplined work environment.
