Macgregor Black is partnering with a leading Consumer Goods Brand in their search for a Commercial Analytics Manager to join their European Finance team, based in Frankfurt.
As a key commercial finance partner, you will report directly into the Finance Director, providing proactive, data-led insights to support business growth, optimise sales strategies, and drive profitability across multiple European markets. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping regional decision-making and delivering commercial excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the budgeting and forecasting process across continental Europe (excluding the UK).
* Analyse commercial performance and provide insight that informs pricing, sales, and marketing strategy.
* Partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams to drive account-level profitability.
* Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making and scenario planning.
* Support cost price increase initiatives and contribute to pricing architecture discussions.
* Champion data integrity and consistency across regions, streamlining analytics and reporting.
* Benchmark best practices with global teams and embed continuous improvement across functions.
What We're Looking For:
* Strong background in commercial finance, FP&A, or business analytics—ideally within consumer, retail or FMCG sectors.
* Advanced Excel capabilities and strong experience working with complex datasets.
* Excellent communication skills in German and English, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
* Commercial acumen with a strategic mindset and a strong eye for detail.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and influence cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
* Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred—but equivalent experience will also be considered.
