Inserat online seit: 25 November
Beschreibung

The School of Public Health conducts theoretical, methodological and problem-oriented research on the causes, conditions and consequences of health and illness in all areas of health sciences/public health.

The interdisciplinary research agenda of Working Group 3 focuses on social epidemiology and international public health, with a broad emphasis on health inequalities related to, for example, gender and migration.

The project ‘GYNVEPI: Toward an epidemiology of gynaecological violence’ is being carried out with the support of an EU-funded ERC Starting Grant. With funding of just under € million, the project will receive support for five years to research violence in gynaecological care in Germany. This opens up a new field of research that has received little attention to date on the planned scale. Using a mixed-methods approach and interdisciplinary research, new insights can be gained to improve patient health. The second phase of the project (2026-2029) is quantitatively oriented and aims to contribute to the development of a questionnaire for research into violence in gynaecological care. The position as a research associate will play a central role in this phase. The candidate is expected to complete their doctorate in direct connection with the project. The project will have inclusion, intersectionality and interdisciplinarity at its core. Your Tasks Research (100 %):
