Azure Cloud Infrastructure Architect (w/m/x)

We support leading companies from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland on their journey to the cloud – from the initial phase to full integration. Deep understanding, abstract thinking, and creative expertise are paramount for this transformation process.
Your tasks:
1. Definition, design and construction of Azure Landing Zones taking Infrastructure as Code into account.
2. Preparation and implementation of complex 7R cloud migrations using Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services.
3. Planning, managing and supporting cloud infrastructure projects and leading international teams.
4. Collaboration on proposals, concepts and architecture designs with network, governance and security experts.
5. Collaboration with Cloud Community Practices and intensive exchange with Microsoft colleagues.
Qualifications and experience:
6. Many years of experience in cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure and other hyperscalers; certifications available
7. Experience in Microsoft platform (Active Directory, DNS, Hyper-V) and data center services (storage, networks, HCI)
8. Sound technical knowledge and experience in people management; strong leadership, motivation, conflict resolution, team-oriented
About you
9. Strong communication and presentation skills (sales gene) at the forefront of the tendering phase
10. Initiative, a structured approach and analytical thinking skills are among your strengths
11. Enjoyment of new and complex challenges, as well as working in a diverse team
12. Willingness to travel (in consultation with you)
13. Fluent language skills in German and English (minimum C1)

We place great value on performance-based and competitive compensation and, depending on your experience and qualifications, offer you an attractive compensation package that significantly exceeds the IT collective bargaining agreement minimum salary. (The current IT collective bargaining agreement minimum salary (2024) in AUSTRIA is €43,078 - €71,848 (full-time basis), depending on the grade.)
