ECAD Librarian (m/f/d)
Your ResponsibilitiesDefine and own the ECAD library architecture, including data models, classification schemes, naming conventions, and attribute structuresEstablish global library standards, guidelines, and governance rulesEnsure scalability, reusability, and long-term maintainability of ECAD librariesAct as the central authority for architectural decisions related to ECAD librariesArchitect and optimize the integration between ECAD tools and surrounding systems (MCAD, PLM, component databases, ERP)Define interfaces, data flows, and automation concepts for library creation and maintenanceAct as escalation point for complex library-related issuesWork closely with hardware design, component engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality teamsTranslate business and engineering requirements into sustainable library solutionsInfluence and align stakeholders without direct line authority
Your QualificationsEducation in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldStrong experience in ECAD environments with focus on libraries, standards, or system architectureDeep hands-on experience with ECAD tools (e.g. Siemens Xpedition)Proven experience designing or governing ECAD library structures and standardsStrong understanding of PCB design, component technologies, and manufacturing requirementsStrong analytical and conceptual thinkingHigh level of ownership and responsibilityAdvanced English language skills
