Your Future Role
2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen.
The Dispatcher Railway Undertaking in the Train Validation department ensures that all transport services necessary to carry out the type test of the ALSTOM vehicles intended for approval are carried out safely and efficiently. You’ll report to the Team Leader Train Validation and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to:
* Monitoring operational processes
* Planning of operating personnel based on train planning in compliance with the Working Hours Act (ArbZG) and other legal regulations
* Ongoing cooperation with the SMV in emergencies and incidents
* Collaboration in expert teams/committees in risk management
* Collaboration in identifying and classifying hazards
* Ordering timetables, sidings and BZA orders
* Coordinating and monitoring vehicle deployments including maintenance and maintenance intervals
* Releasing and blocking vehicles
* Deployment as a train driver (if appropriately qualified)
* Collaboration within the framework of the on-call and operational readiness of the RU or emergency management
All About You

* Completed railway operational training (preferably railway dispatch, train driver)
* Several years of experience in railway service as a dispatcher and/or train driver
* Train driver's license according to TfV advantageous
* Independent working style
* Adherence to deadlines, flexibility, decisiveness
* Clear communication style
* Good solution-finding system for dealing with critical problems
* Good communication skills with internal and external contacts
* Understanding of railway operations and vehicle technology
* Fluent in German C1 (English skills beneficial)
