Role Summary

Up to 20 hours per week (minimum six‑month commitment)

Join Floyt’s Product team as a Working Student in Product Operations, supporting the day-to-day execution and operational excellence of our web and native app products. You will help keep feedback, bugs, and delivery processes structured and transparent, enabling Product Managers and Engineering teams to focus on impact. This role is hands-on, execution-focused, and ideal for someone who enjoys turning complexity into clarity.


Responsibilities

* Incident & ticket management: Serve as the first point of contact for bug reports and support requests; triage issues, manage ticket statuses and maintain documentation. Prioritise requests based on business impact and communicate status updates clearly across teams.

* Collaboration with engineering: Work closely with developers to investigate and solve reported issues, support implementation by ensuring requirements, context and acceptance criteria are clear.

* Sprint & backlog support: Assist the product manager in preparing sprint boards, organising backlog items and ensuring that tasks are properly scoped and estimated.

* Feature launch coordination: Support planning, testing and rollout of new web and app features and coordinate communication between functional areas. Help draft release notes and user-facing communications.

* Discovery & research: Collaborate with product designers and the product manager to support user research and testing sessions. Conduct competitor analysis and synthesize insights to inform discovery work.

* Data analysis: Use data tools (e.g. Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Tableau) to support basic product and operational analysis (e.g. funnels, issue trends,...) using existing dashboards and tools.

* Knowledge management: Contribute to internal knowledge bases, playbooks and tool documentation; ensure that process changes and best practices are captured.

* Continuous improvement: Proactively identify inefficiencies in our operational processes and suggest improvements. Participate in retrospectives and drive actions to improve team performance.

Basic Qualifications

* Current enrolment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Business, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field (must be registered at a German university during the employment period).

* Availability to work a maximum of 20 hours per week and for at least six months.

* Strong analytical skills and affinity for data; comfortable using analytics tools.

* Experience or familiarity with agile software development and project-management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence). Tech-savvy and eager to learn new tools.

* Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus. Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders.

* Proactive, organised, detail-oriented and able to prioritise tasks based on business impact.


Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience as an intern or working student in product operations, product management or operations; familiarity with bug-tracking or ticketing systems.

* Knowledge of database querying (SQL) or product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude).

* Understanding of user research methodologies and ability to conduct interviews or usability tests.

* Passion for e-commerce or SaaS platforms; curiosity for how products are built and scaled.
