A Snapshot of Your Day As a Supplier Development Engineer you are an important member in the supplier quality development team, with a preventive approach and a resolutive dedication implementing mid- and long-term strategies. You regularly conduct supplier audits or assessments, with focus on systems and processes quality, and identify areas for improvement. Delivering training programs to suppliers on quality control and process improvement techniques allows you to bring your experience to the suppliers on how they deal with their business. Performance based steering of suppliers as well as supporting (and eventually leading) fast response teams with contingency procedures (risk-based approach) Continuously evaluate risks at suppliers, collaborate with material field working groups, and define specific approaches such as onsite presence, special audits, and more. What You Bring Bachelor/Master or Phd degree in engineering or in related field. Several years of experience in supplier development and quality management, with a strong background in R&D, Manufacturing, or Project Development. Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with quality methods such as APQP, FMEA, 8D, RCA, and FMEA. Fluent English and good knowledge of German (both written and spoken) are required.
