Together, we break through – as Synthetic Chemist - Medicinal Chemistry (all genders) (temporary for 24 months / full-time) Our team specialized in Small Molecular Therapeutics and Platform Technologies (SMTPT) within Discovery Research seeks a Senior Scientist I to design and synthesize small molecules within the Global Medicinal Chemistry (GMEC) organization. GMEC is committed to delivering first and best-in-class small molecules in conventional and unconventional drug-like space with the potential to improve human health. You will work in a cross functional team aimed at identifying and advancing promising low dose leads. Make your mark: The focus of your role will be to prepare biologically active compounds from milligram to gram scale using state of the art organic synthesis and technology. You will independently design and execute multi-step synthetic routes from milligram to multi-gram scale. You will develop new synthetic methods and technologies and apply them to the synthesis of biologically active compounds. You will be involved in the design of compounds and the evaluation of their biological activity. You will effectively collaborate and communicate with local and global chemistry and cross-functional teams.
