What you'll do:
As a Solution Customer Success Manager (S-CSM) for the Finance and Spend Management Solutions (f/m/d), you will act as a trusted advisor, maximizing customer lifetime value by delivering solution area expertise to customer executives and their line of business while accelerating near term value delivery via the rapid adoption and consumption of solutions.
1. Build deep executive relationships and earn trusted advisor status with customers
2. Identify new opportunities for customers to leverage new or expanded SAP solutions
3. Mitigate churn and manage renewals of SAP solutions/services
4. Identify sales leads and support sales in expansion and upsell efforts
5. Manage through crisis and de-escalate customer situations
6. Drive renewals, expansions, and up-sells of subscription or perpetual license-based solutions
What you bring:
7. Strong executive presence and relationship building skills
8. Deep knowledge of business models, strategies, and line of business processes
9. Proven ability to handle difficult customer situations and discuss complex issues with customer executives
10. 3+ years experience with cloud software solutions and delivery models
11. Expert level buying center/Lines of Business domain expertise
12. Ability to apply risk-mitigation strategies to customer situations
13. Knowledge of SAP solutions portfolio and the business processes they enable
14. Some technical understanding for assigned solution area to address technical issues with customers
15. Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
16. Experience in business software
17. Knowledge of SAAS and IAAS processes
18. Strong program/project management and governance skills
19. Expert commercial/deal support skills
20. Relationship-driven mindset with excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
21. Experience driving renewals, expansions, and up-sells of subscription or perpetual license-based solutions.
22. S/4HANA and /or Office of the CFO background desired (Planning & Analyitics, Accounting & Close, Treasury, Financial Operations, Global Trade, GRC)
