Your Tasks
As a Business Analyst supporting the RTL+ (Hungary) streaming platform, you will play a critical role in driving the platform's commercial success through data-driven decision-making. Your core responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining tier-level P&L models across all streaming offerings (AVOD, BVOD, SVOD, ASVOD), incorporating revenues, content costs, marketing spend, and tech allocations.
* Leading subscriber forecasting through cohort-based churn models, inflow estimations, and net growth tracking.
* Simulating pricing and packaging scenarios to evaluate business impact and support strategic pricing decisions.
* Analyzing content consumption patterns to assess content ROI and guide investment decisions.
* Supporting budget and forecast cycles with revenue projections and contribution analysis per tier.
* Delivering daily, weekly, and ad-hoc dashboards and performance insights for the CSO and other stakeholders.
* Quantifying the financial impact of product changes, campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
* Creating financial and scenario models to support planning for regional market expansion.
Your Profile
* 5+ years of experience in business planning, commercial analytics, or similar roles in streaming, SVOD, or OTT
* Proven expertise in building forecasting models and evaluating pricing strategies.
* Solid grasp of key streaming KPIs such as ARPU, CLV, churn, and content ROI.
* Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables and sensitivity modeling); familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
* Strong analytical thinking and business judgment—able to challenge assumptions and communicate clear recommendations.
* Fluency in English; experience working with Hungarian teams is advantageous, though Hungarian language is not required.
Your Team
You will report directly to the Chief Streaming Officer and work as a key analytical partner within a cross-functional team driving RTL+ Hungary's commercial performance.
You will collaborate closely with the Head of RTL+, Marketing Manager, and Product/Content Manager, as well as teams in Budapest and Luxembourg. Your role will help translate strategic goals into measurable business plans, providing the financial insight and performance tracking needed to support decision-making across product, content, and marketing.
