About the role:
We’re looking for a Business Controller – Operations Controlling who will bring financial insight, drive, and analytical strength to our operations. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted partner to our Logistics and Supply Chain teams — supporting them with clear financial analyses, actionable insights, and a focus on continuous improvement.
About your tasks:
* Partner with Logistics and Operations teams to manage budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reviews.
* Analyze operational costs, KPIs, and variances to identify efficiency gains and cost optimization opportunities.
* Lead financial support for logistics investment projects — from business case development to project controlling.
* Monitor and challenge operational spending to ensure alignment with strategic and budgetary goals.
* Maintain and develop the Logistics Scorecard, translating key performance data into meaningful insights.
* Contribute to working capital optimization through selective support on stock and payment term evaluations.
About you:
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 3–5 years of relevant experience in Business Controlling or as a Financial Analyst, ideally within Operations, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data into actionable recommendations.
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI, PowerQuery, and / or PowerPivot.
* A structured, proactive mindset and excellent communication skills.
* Fluency in English; German is a plus.
