The Tender Manager provides support to the German and EMEA Regional Product & Sales Teams by qualifying, procuring and analyzing pricing from our subsidiaries for our Corporate and Strategic Key Accounts to assist with the achievement of Sales & Product objectives.
Key responsibilities:
Tender Management: Lead and coordinate the full tender process from qualification to submission, including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
Proposal Development: Prepare competitive offers, organize company information, and create pricing matrices in cooperation with internal teams.
Coordination: Align inputs from Products, Operations, and Sales, and manage data from network and agent offices.
Pricing Knowledge: Develop and maintain regional pricing expertise in close collaboration with Trade Management and Procurement.
Sales Support: Work closely with Sales on customer RFQ preparation and contribute to strategic discussions and presentations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Industry Knowledge: Experience in freight forwarding (Air and/or Ocean) with strong operational expertise.
Organization & Project Management: Proven skills in project management, multitasking, and delivering high-quality results under deadlines.
Work Style: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable to fast-paced environments, and effective with internal and external stakeholders.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in German and English; confident, proactive, and collaborative team player.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data analysis, and ability to identify process improvements.
