The Opportunity
This position is in our division Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
Your Tasks:
1. Achieving sales and market share targets and driving profitable growth in a relevant business
2. Leading, developing, and coaching a high-performing sales team of Regional Sales Managers in the German market
3. Developing and managing relationships with high-profile customers, accounts, and opinion leaders
4. Representing the business at key internal and external events and at national and international business reviews
5. Developing and implementing strategies for country product launches
6. Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on competitors’ products and strategies, and driving appropriate business responses
7. Developing sales strategies and tactics and driving successful execution
8. Managing costs according to plan and guidelines
9. Anticipating healthcare market developments
Your Qualification:
1. Postgraduate diploma or university degree with on-the-job business exposure
2. Proven track record of successful leadership over several years
3. Experience in sales analysis and strategic sales approaches
4. Experience in strategy development and execution
5. Experience in P&L management, forecasting, and cost center management
6. Good personal and professional discipline and balance
7. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
