As a QA Engineer Working Student (m/f/d) for the Sphere XG Viewer, you will be provided with a broad understanding of our industry and company. Location: Hybrid – based in Achen Area (or Stuttgart Area in Korntal-Münchingen), with required in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
In this Internship you will:
1. Support and maintain existing software systems by collaborating with developer, customers, the support & CS team and other QA engineers by executing test cases, reproducing and reporting defects, assisting with testing and test automation
2. Write and test code for test automation
3. Identify and reproduce defects
4. Collaborate with support, customers & developers and provide check lists and data in order to reproduce issues or defects
5. Participate in code reviews to support on unit testing
6. Collaborate with other team members
7. Learn and use of new technologies
8. Understanding and following our coding standards
You will be working under the supervision of our Global R&D and Engineering Team.
Hiring Preferences:
9. Enrolled or finished Bachelor’s degree in Computer
10. Science, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
11. Basic understanding of computer programming and test automation, good general knowledge on web platforms
12. Ability to identify unintended behavior of a computer program, document this behavior and steps for reproducing the problem
13. Ability to implement simple test cases and simple test automation
14. Ability to learn and apply knowledge and problem solving
15. Excellent written and oral English skills
