International Sales Account Manager – German Market
Reporting to: Vice President of Sales
We are seeking a strategic and driven International Sales Account Manager to lead business development efforts in the German automotive sector. This role is instrumental in growing market presence, nurturing client relationships, and executing sales initiatives aligned with broader European growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership:
* Design and implement targeted sales strategies for the German market in alignment with executive leadership.
* Drive initiatives to enhance brand positioning as a key player within Germany’s automotive ecosystem.
Client Relationship Management:
* Develop and expand relationships with key accounts in Germany, ensuring long-term satisfaction and account growth.
* Work closely with senior decision-makers at leading automotive organizations to provide customized solutions.
Market Analysis & Business Development:
* Analyze the German automotive landscape to identify trends, new opportunities, and potential challenges.
* Proactively pursue and convert new business prospects, with a focus on OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Product & Technical Expertise:
* Build and maintain a strong understanding of complex technology offerings, including infotainment, ADAS, and SoC solutions.
* Deliver persuasive technical presentations tailored to the needs of the German automotive sector.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
* Generate accurate and actionable sales forecasts, reporting key performance metrics for the German region.
* Offer strategic insights based on client feedback and evolving market conditions.
Contract Negotiation & Pricing:
* Lead contract discussions and pricing strategy development in alignment with corporate goals and market dynamics.
* Ensure all commercial agreements meet both client expectations and business objectives.
RFQ/RFI Management:
* Own the end-to-end RFQ/RFI response process, ensuring submissions meet client specifications and timelines.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong background in account management and sales within the European automotive industry.
* Specific experience working with German OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
* Demonstrated success in complex deal-making and long-cycle sales processes.
* Familiarity with technical solutions such as infotainment systems, ADAS, or SoC technologies.
* Established network within German automotive companies (e.g., VW, Daimler, Audi, Mercedes).
* Exceptional communication skills and cultural fluency in German business environments.
* Entrepreneurial spirit with robust negotiation and strategic thinking abilities.
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related discipline.
* Fluency in German and English required.
