Job Summary
As the Supervisor for the Quality Control (m/w/d) in Eschweiler, you will lead and develop our Quality Control team, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards. You’ll oversee testing processes, guide your team, support production in solving quality issues, and drive continuous improvement across operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Leadership and development of Quality Control (mixing, in-process, and final inspection), including direct supervision of 4 shift leaders and a total team of approximately 50 employees
2. Responsibility for the organization, implementation and continuous improvement of personnel planning, training, and qualification across the four quality control shifts
3. Planning and management of quality improvement projects at the Eschweiler site
4. Support of production teams with quality-related questions and problem-solving
5. Ensuring further processing of batches exclusively in compliance with established specifications
6. Responsibility for chemical-physical testing of raw rubber compounds (mixing control) as well as visual and dimensional inspections of rubber components (in-process and final control)
7. Evaluation of non-conforming batches and initiation and follow-up of corrective actions
8. Execution and monitoring of calibrations for measuring equipment; validation of new instruments and methods
9. Management and evaluation of statistical data related to the supervised area
Education
10. Bachelor's or Master's Degree In Engineering or Natural Science required
Work Experience
11. Experience in the field of quality assurance
12. Initial experience in supervising or leading employees is desirable

13. Strong communication skills as well as a reliable, proactive, and committed working style
14. Assertiveness and decision-making ability combined with an analytical mindset
15. Good technical understanding and a strong sense of quality awareness
16. Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
17. Very good PC skills (MS Office, SAP) as well as strong statistical knowledge
18. Six Sigma Green Belt certification is desirable
Physical Requirements
Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
