The Opportunity:
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a
CAD Technician
to join our
Special Projects Department
on a
permanent basis
. This exciting on-site, office-based role is located in
Dresden, Germany
, where you will contribute to a multi-year, high-profile semiconductor project. You'll be part of a team delivering Murphy Geospatial's "Geospatial Management" philosophy, leveraging the latest geospatial technologies and processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to advance their career while working on a complex and innovative construction project.
What will I be doing in my new role?
* Processing laser scan data and producing CAD drawings.
* Delivering as-built survey drawings and reports.
* Developing and implementing process workflows.
* Drafting high-quality survey drawings in line with project requirements.
* Ensuring timely delivery of drawings and documentation.
* Following Murphy Geospatial's processing guidelines and standards.
* Attending project briefings and contributing to team discussions.
* Applying templates, standards, and client value propositions.
* Preparing technical reports as needed.
* Supporting occasional site work any other duties as required by the business.
Requirements of the role:
* Previous experience in the Geospatial sector and construction industry is essential.
* Solid understanding of surveying and geospatial engineering principles.
* Right to work in Germany.
* Familiarity with Autodesk tools such as Navisworks, Revit, ReCap, and BIM 360.
* Experience with HD Laser Scanning and related software.
* Experience processing laser scan data in Leica Cyclone / Cyclone 3DR.
* Full, clean German or International driver's licence.
