Key Responsibilities: Design components for cardiovascular devices using SolidWorks. Develop parts suitable for CNC machining, injection moulding, and extrusion processes. Build and test prototypes; perform hands-on lab work including assembly, evaluation, and iterative design. Execute bench testing and write technical reports documenting results and design iterations. Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions. Support design verification activities and contribute to design history file documentation. Requirements: Degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering. 2–5 years of experience in medical device research and development. Strong experience with catheter systems or stent/valve delivery technologies. Proficient in SolidWorks and comfortable with engineering drawing and GD&T. Familiarity with part design for various manufacturing methods, including machining, moulding, and extrusion. Enjoys hands-on work in the lab - prototyping, assembling, and testing.
