Description
* Design, develop, and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace applications
* Implement AI and deep learning algorithms for enhanced system functionality (e.g., sensor data processing)
* Collaborate with hardware, systems, and avionics teams to ensure seamless integration
* Ensure compliance with aviation standards (e.g., DO‑178C, DO‑254) and safety‑critical development practices
* Conduct software testing, validation, and verification to meet aerospace requirements
Profile
* Master's degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering
* At least 4 years of experience in IT/information systems
* At least 4 years of aerospace experience
* Proven experience developing embedded software for avionics or aerospace systems
* Familiarity with avionics standards (e.g., ARINC 653, DO‑178C) and safety‑critical development
* English at negotiation level; German beneficial
* Experience with C/C++ and/or Ada, plus real-time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks)
* Experience with AI/ML frameworks and deep learning techniques is required
