You will focus on the following tasks: As part of the service for workstations and hardware, you will be responsible for selecting new hardware according to requirements, installing, configuring and integrating PC workstations into the local Ethernet network and handing over laptops to (new) employees or taking them back or replacing them. Your tasks will also include technical user service (1st and 2nd level support) for the workstations and hardware. You will also be responsible for service and maintenance for printers and software, including the needs-based selection and commissioning of new hardware, the repair of printers, including the installation of spare parts if necessary, and sub-project management for the further development of printer services at the DAAD. Your activities will be rounded off by the service for printers and servers. This includes, for example, ensuring that the print and scan services are operational and identifying and rectifying faults.
