Job Description
* Lead the development and implementation of software for battery management systems (BMS) for high-voltage, 48V, and 12V automotive applications
* Architect and design complex device drivers for BMS integrated circuits (ICs)
* Ensure and drive functional safety according to ISO 26262 standards across projects
* Serve as a key technical contact for OEMs and Tier-1 customers, managing customer-facing interactions and technical presentations
* Provide technical leadership in AUTOSAR-based software architectures and solutions
* Guide and mentor engineering teams, support customer projects, and deliver technical consulting
Qualifications
* Educated to a degree in Electroengineering, Computer Science or similar
* Several years of relevant professional experience
* Extensive experience in automotive software development, with a focus on battery management systems
* Deep expertise in AUTOSAR and functional safety (ISO 26262)
* Proven track record in developing complex device drivers for BMS ICs
* Significant experience in customer-facing roles with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, ideally in international environments
* Excellent communication skills in English and German
* Strong leadership, mentoring, and customer orientation
