The German Pension Insurance (DRV) Baden-Württemberg is one of the largest regional providers of statutory pension insurance with around 3,600 employees. Our digitalization department is shaping the digital transformation of pension insurance as part of nationwide IT projects and developing secure, user-centered digital solutions for citizens and administrative staff. We want to further develop our existing core system in a future-proof manner. As a KRITIS company, information security plays a major role for us. Together with around 400 colleagues from various pension insurance providers, we are driving forward the biggest transformation in the history of the DRV. Test Manager (m/f/d) – IT / Digital Solutions Public Administration

What you can expect from us
You will be responsible for the quality and availability of the German Pension Insurance's eAntrag internet applications and will support agile development through professional testing strategies and procedures.
* You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing technical, functional, and non-functional tests, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (GDPR, BSI basic protection, BITV 2.0).
* You will create, maintain, and be responsible for test concepts, test specifications, and test cases, carry out tests in a traceable manner, document results, and prepare release recommendations.
* Based on a systematic analysis, you will evaluate results, identify deviations, errors, and risks, and document them in full.
* You will monitor the tracking and evaluation of error corrections in close coordination with the development and project teams involved.
* In addition, you will participate in the setup, maintenance, and further development of test environments and contribute to continuous quality assurance and the optimization of test and development processes in interdisciplinary projects.

What we expect
* You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, or administrative sciences, as well as professional experience in test management and software quality assurance, ideally in government or government-related IT projects.
* Your profile includes confident use of common testing, automation, and collaboration tools (e.g., qTest, Tosca, Playwright, Jira, Confluence) as well as a basic understanding of test automation concepts.
* You have knowledge of agile process models (ideally SAFe) and experience in hybrid project environments.
* You have a basic technical understanding of software architectures, databases, APIs, and interfaces, and are able to analyze logs and understand technical error patterns.
* In addition to your analytical and structured approach to work, you are highly proactive, responsible, a team player, and have very good written and spoken German skills.
You must also be willing to undertake necessary training and business trips, including those lasting several days, as well as work outside normal working hours.
Existing legal and procedural knowledge in the field of pension insurance is an advantage; alternatively, this must be acquired "on the job" to the extent necessary.
