I have partnered with an expanding semiconductor company in Munich and due to their continued success are looking to hire a Senior Applications Engineer for SiC Modules .
The Senior Applications Engineer will be responsible for the conceptualisation, definition and applications engineering of next-generation SiC Technology and molded power modules for automotive traction inverters.
Other responsibilities include :
* Motivating and mentoring junior members of the team
* Development of power loss modelling software for wide band gap semiconductors
* Driving thermal measurements, thermal efficiency and EMI
Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for this Senior Applications Engineer for SiC Power Modules you will need a degree in electrical and electronics engineering or a related discipline and a proven background in the following :
* Broad knowledge of semiconductor applications
* Expert Knowledge in SiC-MOSFETs
* Good understanding of converter topologies
* Circuit troubleshooting.
* Familiarity with the use of Matlab / Simulink, Altium, Labview, and other simulation software packages
* Must have the ability to understand and Gate driver circuits of IGBT and SIC MOSFETs
