* Supervision: To report to Event Manager and ESP CEO
* Remuneration: Highly competitive, depending on experience
* Hours per week: 40
* Contract: Permanent
* Location: ESP Berlin Office / ESP Brussels Headquarters
Job Purpose
* The Event Coordinator will assist with the planning and managing of all kinds of event-associated projects (European Congress of Pathology, European School of Pathology "EScoP", ESP Academy, Masterclass, Advisory Forum, etc.) on behalf of the Society and will ensure they are completed on time, within budget and meet the needs specified.
* To assist in all internal and external projects of the ESP and its Foundation.
* To administer and carry out exhibiting opportunities within the scope of ESP events.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for organizing all aspects of the annual European Congress of Pathology from an operational and logistical standpoint
* Responsible for organizing all aspects of small-size events from an operational and logistical standpoint
* On-site execution of smaller ESP events
* Assistance with technical exhibition aspects, liaising with exhibitors and venues
* Correspondence with contracted exhibitors for ECPs and other ESP events
* Correspondence with participants of the annual congress and other ESP events
* Invoicing for ESP activities
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Bachelor's degree, training in project and event management with a minimum of 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
* Proven work experience in MICE industry or association
* Structured, organised, precise and reliable
* Experience with WordPress
* Excellent command of English and at least one additional European language
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 environment; working knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous
* Ability to work with peak activity time and stress resistant
* Hands-on (proactive) approach to tasks in both exhibition management and other ESP-related matters
* Willingness to travel
