Join an innovative digital organisation as Senior Legal Counsel – Labour Law, acting as a trusted legal partner to management and HR. In this role, you will advise on complex employment law matters, support organisational change, and ensure labour law decisions are pragmatic, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise management and HR on all aspects of individual and collective employment law.
* Manage co-determination procedures and collaborate closely with employee representative bodies.
* Support organisational changes, restructurings, and transfers of undertakings under applicable labour law provisions.
* Negotiate, draft, and implement company agreements covering areas such as working time, IT systems, remuneration, and compliance.
* Handle complex employment law matters including contract drafting, employment changes, and terminations.
* Manage labour court proceedings and coordinate external legal counsel.
* Provide guidance on group-wide employment law matters, including internal staffing arrangements and cooperation models.
Your Profile:
* Fully qualified lawyer (Second State Examination) or equivalent qualification.
* Several years’ experience in employment law, ideally within a corporate legal department and/or commercial law firm.
* Strong expertise in individual and collective employment law, including works council cooperation.
* Experience advising stakeholders in complex organisational environments.
* Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented working style.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to engage confidently at all organisational levels.
* Fluent German and English skills.
