Master’s Thesis in Molecular Genetics (m/w/d)
The Molecular Genetics of Atherosclerosis and Myocardial Infarction research group at the TUM German Heart Center focuses on the identification of genetic risk variants. The underlying pathomechanisms are clarified using various experimental approaches. These include in particular genome editing, protein biochemical and cell culture work, RNA/transcriptome analyses, and phenotyping of transgenic mouse models.
Major tasks
1. Participation in scientific seminars and exchange with other scientists
2. Planning and conducting experiments in the above-mentioned areas
What you bring
3. Master's student in biology, life sciences or biomedicine
4. Previous laboratory experience is an advantage
5. Very good written and spoken English skills
6. Ability to work independently and on your own responsibility
