Your Mission:
As Communication Designer (Assistant Manager) you will support the identification and development of Design opportunities to build the Kia Brand.

Your Responsibilities:
1. Translate design concepts into compelling visual narratives using varied media, including 2D graphic design, film-making, motion graphics, and AI-assisted creative tools.
2. Develop mood boards, storyboards, and creative frameworks to communicate design intent across brand, spatial, and communication projects.
3. Conduct research and trend analysis to ensure innovative and cutting-edge visual communication strategies.
4. Craft engaging storytelling that enhances the contextual understanding of Kia’s design initiatives.
5. Support the team with generating scripts, presentations, and visual assets that effectively communicate design-driven narratives.
6. Support the curation, documentation, and submission of company projects for participation in industry-recognized design awards (., Red Dot, iF Design, etc).
7. Assist in refining and implementing internal and external communication that reinforce the Kia’s design vision.
8. Develop guidelines, presentations, and training materials to effectively convey the design philosophy across departments.
9. Ensure alignment between corporate messaging and design-driven initiatives.
10. Actively engage with internal stakeholders and external partners to provide clear design perspective and guidance.
Key Qualifications:
11. University Degree in Transportation Design, Visual Design, or similar / Vocational training certification with proven track record of relevant experience
12. Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in Design or Communications with an understanding of brand topics; ideally in the automotive business or creative agency
13. Broad understanding and experience of automotive design, and a keen eye for detail.
14. Proficiency in project support and management, able to conceptualize and execute innovative projects under supervision
15. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the digital landscape and integrated communication
16. Strategic, conceptual, and creative - able to develop innovative solutions, think critically, and communicate compelling ideas both verbally and visually (via Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Pro, Microsoft Powerpoint; Figma, Premiere, Runway, Kling, Krea and Midjourney proficiency would be an advantage, but not a must)
17. Strong collaboration skills, positive thinking, flexibility and the ability to adapt in a multicultural and quickly developing environment
18. Proficient in both written and spoken English, displaying excellent communication skills and responsiveness.
19. Commitment and motivation to travel outside of Europe.
