Shape next‑generation sensor electronics by turning ideas into functional prototypes.
We are looking for an open-minded and curious student (m/f/d) from electrical engineering, embedded systems, or comparable fields of study. We are looking for a tinkerer for hardware development tasks who wants to take on new challenges and would like to solve them.
What You'll do
You will support the electronics pre-development team in further development of our sensor electronics in terms of design, build up a prototype and characterize by measurement.
You will use your theoretical basic knowledge of electronics and sensor principles to design and implement sensors in our power tools. You will use design tools like Altium, Siemens NX as well as practical work in the electronics laboratory using an Oscilloscope, DC-sources and measurement equipment.
You will tackle the relevant dimensions of electronics, software, and mechanics to build a first sensor implementation and discuss your results in a team of developers.
What You’ll Bring
You are a motivated tinkerer and enthusiastic about designing, simulating and evaluating of power / sensor electronics, having good basic theoretical knowledge and ideally already experience in the electronics laboratory.
1. Studies in the field of electronic engineering / embedded systems and experience in at least one of the following fields.
2. Experience in electronic circuit design
3. Experience in embedded software (C-Code)
4. Experience in mechatronics design
5. Experience in Spice simulation
6. Prior knowledge of file version management (. Git) desirable
7. Independent working style
8. Good knowledge of English
