Regional S&OP Planner In this position, you will be responsible for the strategic planning of product groups across all sites and act as a central interface between product management, supply chain, production, purchasing and sales. The objective is to ensure integrated, future-oriented and resilient planning along the entire value chain - with a focus on transparency, capacity balancing and sustainable delivery capability. Your tasks: Coordination between the product area and supply chain management, particularly in the context of medium and long-term demand and capacity planning. Coordinating the views of Sales, Production and Purchasing as part of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process - including active involvement in shaping the basis for decision-making. Creating transparency about supply risks, requirements, buffer stocks and buffer times along the supply chain. Resource and capacity coordination with production as a central internal interface - to identify and evaluate bottlenecks and ensure realistic production plans. In-depth understanding of capacities and capacity developments in various Centers of Competence (CoCs) in order to provide sound support for strategic location decisions. Developing and evaluating strategic options, such as outsourcing scenarios, in close cooperation with Purchasing and production. Balancing in the medium and long term (> 2 years)- to support investment and resource decisions. Active participation in the NPI process (New Product Introduction): You will accompany development projects and new contracts in close coordination with Development, Product Division, Purchasing and Manufacturing. You will contribute your expertise in relation to SCM lead times, buffer times and capacity requirements at an early stage (e.g. offer phase, simultaneous engineering). Contribute to the further development of planning models, processes and tools to increase efficiency and improve the integration of cross-divisional planning data. Your profile: Degree in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain management, production engineering or comparable. Professional experience in production planning, supply chain or strategic corporate planning - ideally in a technology and safety-critical environment (e.g. defense, aerospace, automotive, mechanical and plant engineering). Confident handling of planning KPIs, capacity models and supply chain KPIs. Understanding of product development processes (e.g. simultaneous engineering) and their impact on the supply chain and capacity planning Analytical thinking and high communication and coordination skills across functional boundaries and locations. Experience with ERP and planning systems (e.g. SAP, APS systems). Very good written and spoken German
