Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager – Laundry Category to lead and orchestrate the full product lifecycle across the European market. This strategic role is responsible for defining a winning product portfolio based on local market sales needs and business priorities, while optimizing range complexity and launch timing.
To be effective, the role requires a deep understanding of ongoing R&D activities, emerging technologies, and engineering workload capacity. The candidate must also map the variety of different market requirements across Europe—each with its own consumer preferences, regulatory needs, and commercial strategies—and balance these inputs to shape a cohesive, efficient, and competitive product portfolio.
The ideal candidate will combine market insight, technical understanding, and strong cross-functional collaboration to deliver a differentiated, consumer-relevant offering aligned with both local demands and global strategy.
Your Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management for the European laundry category, from strategic planning and development to launch execution and post-launch optimization.
* Define and continuously refine a product portfolio that reflects local market sales needs while aligning with overall business goals and global platform strategy.
* Monitor and summarize diverse regional requirements—across countries, consumer segments, and channels—to build an optimized, scalable, and efficient product range.
* Collaborate closely with R&D in both directions (provide and receive inputs) on ongoing product development, new technologies, and workload capacity, ensuring alignment with market needs.
* Support product launches across European markets, identifying ideal launch windows and aligning with business and operational readiness.
* Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to identify key trends, technology opportunities, and unique selling propositions (USPs).
* Use consumer insights, usage behavior, and feedback to guide innovation, identify unmet needs, and support portfolio enhancements.
* Consider portfolio compliance with European regulatory standards and third-party certification systems (e.g., energy labels, safety standards).
* Monitor category and product performance through KPIs, recommending actions to improve business impact, efficiency, and consumer satisfaction.
* Coordinate with key internal stakeholders—Product Development, Product Planning, European Product Managers, and Global HQ—to ensure alignment and execution.
* Support local market teams (sales, service, marketing) with product knowledge, training, and active involvement in events and trade activities.
* Drive integration of relevant European trends: sustainability, UI, digitalization, connectivity features, and into the portfolio, aligning with evolving consumer expectations and corporate goals.
Your Profile:
* Over 10 years of experience in market and product-related roles.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills.
* Strong market insight, with the ability to accurately identify market trends.
* Background in structural design, with familiarity in designing products made of sheet metal, plastic, and stainless steel, and a solid understanding of the key design principles for these materials.
What we offer:
* An international working environment and agile teamwork
* Goal-oriented and collaborative organizational culture
* Flexible working hours with a Hybrid working system
* Various opportunities for further training and career development
* Employee benefit programs (such as lunch benefit, company doctor, pension plan)
