As an AI Solution Architect, you will design innovative ML/AI solutions from conception to production. You will build modern MLOps pipelines, optimize models for performance and scalability, and ensure compliance and security. Together with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders, you will drive AI innovations and support the team through coaching and mentoring.
Responsibilities:
* Design, development and scaling of enterprise AI/ML solutions
* Development and optimization of MLOps pipelines (CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, retraining)
* Performance optimization and orchestration of models in productive environments
* Ensuring robustness, fairness, compliance and security in AI applications
* Close collaboration with data scientists & engineers on data pipelines, feature stores and model validation
* Selection and integration of modern tools, frameworks and architectures
* Co-creation of standards, best practices and strategic roadmap in the field of AI/ML
* Coaching and mentoring of junior and mid-level engineers
Qualifications:
* Several years of experience in architecture, implementation and operation of AI/ML solutions
* In-depth knowledge of GenAI, LLMs, MLMs, and RAG (architecture, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, agent orchestration)
* Experience with common frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or Haystack
* Very good programming skills in Python and experience with CI/CD pipelines
* Expertise in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC (Terraform)
* Familiarity with MLOps (MLflow, Deployment, Observability, Governance)
* Knowledge of compliance and security (e.g., GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001/27701, TISAX)
* Experience in the conception of digital solutions and in presenting them to customers
Required skills:
* Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, data science or a comparable field
* Fluent German skills (at least C1 level) and good English skills are required
Desired skills:
* Knowledge of software engineering (clean code, design patterns, testing)
* Experience in project or team management (Scrum, CRISP-DM)
* Practice with local LLMs (Llama.cpp, Ollama, vLLM, Unsloth) and common ML libraries (PyTorch, scikit-learn, OpenCV)
* Experience in building AI platforms (enterprise search, test automation, coding agents)
* Know-how in data analysis (statistics, Tableau, R)
* Certifications in AI, ML, Cloud or Software Engineering
