About the role
As our Head of Category, you will:
* Lead strategic brand management, communication, marketing launch strategies, and BBI for the Beauty category.
* Oversee category P&L, ensuring shrewd investment and driving proactive efficiencies.
* Develop brand communications strategy, ensuring clear brand differentiation and superiority.
* Manage market strategy and key projects, proactively handling product pipelines and retail/sales strategy changes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective media translation of category vision.
* Build effective relationships with PR, Communications, and sales teams for integrated marketing efforts.
* Accountable for strategic ranging of the category, ensuring efficient range to drive market ambition.
* Empower team members to track forecasting and stock levels for strategic launches and business stability.
* Inspire and lead the marketing team through feedback, objectives, and career planning.
* Develop talent and succession plans to ensure organizational readiness for future challenges.
About you
To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:
* At least 8 years of solid marketing background with management-level experience.
* Experience in brand and category management.
* Strong knowledge of traditional and digital media.
* Line management experience is essential.
* Ability to engage, motivate, and lead teams effectively.
* Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
* Creative thinker with effective presentation abilities.
* Demonstrated senior team leadership skills.
* Ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
